Philosophy
I genuinely enjoy the people, the process and the satisfaction of a successful real estate transaction. When everyone is happy, it’s a dream job. I strive to be a partner to every client, working closely with them to achieve their goals and improve the quality of their lives. I believe the key to my success over the years has been a straight forward communication style and common-sense advice. I love to help my clients when they list their homes and thoroughly enjoy finding their perfect “next” home. I’ve had the pleasure of helping clients in multiple transactions as they travel through their own life stages, from first-time buyers to downsizing sellers. I’m always honored when someone trusts me enough to ask for my advice and assistance. Nearly all of my clients come through channels established throughout my career. I’ve been fortunate to find success at the high end of the market and much of my business is through referrals from those clients.
Experience & Education
I have over 35 years of local experience in every aspect of residential real estate, from project development to multi-million dollar sales, which has made me one of the Seacoast area’s most accomplished agents. I successfully marketed and developed many early Portsmouth projects including the Woodlands, Harbour Place, Noble’s Island, Market Wharf at the Sheraton as well as the exclusive lots in Harbour Links Estates at Wentworth by the Sea Country Club in Rye. I’ve been a sales associate with Tate & Foss Sotheby's International Realty since 1992 and achieved the firm’s highest annual sales volume on multiple occasions. For over 15 years, I was also the firm’s sales manager, responsible for supervising sales associates and their transactions, guiding the team through a sea of change that has transformed the real estate industry. And I have a dual degree in Education and Sociology (Monmouth College in Illinois).
Community & Personality
I’ve lived in the Seacoast area for over 40 years and in Rye for nearly 20 of those years. My husband Bill and I are longtime members of Wentworth by the Sea Country Club and are lucky enough to live in a home that we built overlooking the 18th fairway. When I’m not selling real estate, you’ll find me on the golf course or enjoying time with my family members who live nearby, including my father, daughter and son-in-law, and dearly loved grandson Shea and granddaughter Ryen. Our family is very engaged and proud to be contributing to the wonderful quality of life in our community. I’m honored to be a board member of Piscataqua Savings Bank, a well-respected Seacoast financial institution that serves many residents and supports hundreds of local charities, non-profits and initiatives. In the past, I have served on the boards of the Seacoast Visiting Nurses Association and my country club’s Women’s Golf Association and also worked as a local hospice volunteer.
